Better late than never, this is the final progress video from my time learning Spanish abroad. Recorded in Gibraltar back in June, the video includes some of the highlights of the cycling trip that started in Valencia. As I’ve mentioned elsewhere on my blog, my Spanish skills had probably already peaked by the time I arrived at the tip of the Iberian peninsula. Although I continued to practise the language at every opportunity, during my final couple of weeks in Spain I moved my focus away from the language apps and instead began trying to line up job interviews for my return to England. The beginning of the greatest World Cup of my lifetime may also have served as a distraction.
Nevertheless, the video does show the progress I made during my time overseas. Thank you to everyone who has followed my journey along the way.
