Since my last video, I have travelled with my girlfriend from Bocas del Toro to Bogota in Colombia. While this has given me lots of opportunities to practise my Spanish, this hasn’t quite matched my 20 hours of tuition I was receiving every week at Habla Ya. Consequently, my fluency has regressed. This is something I am eager to address during my final few days in South America. At the end of the month I will return to England for a brief pit stop before flying to Spain early in May for the next leg of my adventure.
As is evident in the video, I initially planned on running through the highlights of the past month. However, as I began to discuss our arrival in Colombia, I realised the video was already overrunning. In order to prevent the video turning into a feature film, I cut it short. There are simply too many memories to share from our time in Colombia. If the video was longer, I would have outlined our route, which has taken in Cartagena, Santa Marta, the Lost City, Tayrona National Park, Medellin and Bogota. Each place has been very different, but Tayrona has been the jewel in the crown and I will endeavour to write about it in depth in the coming weeks.
Until then, enjoy the video and forgive my numerous grammatical mistakes!
